Some cartons of Sertraline 100 mg film‑coated tablets,
manufactured by Amarox Limited, may incorrectly contain
blister strips of Citalopram 40 mg tablets.
As a precautionary measure, all packs of Sertraline
100 mg film‑coated tablets with
Batch Number V2500425 are being recalled.
What You Need to Do
If you have been prescribed Sertraline 100 mg film‑coated tablets,
please check your medication carefully.
The batch number and expiry date can be found printed on
the side of the outer carton.
Check the Blister Strips Inside the Carton

If the blister strips are labelled and contain Citalopram 40 mg
tablets:
Please contact your dispensing pharmacy as soon as
possible for advice. -
If the blister strips are labelled and contain Sertraline 100 mg
tablets:
You do not need to take any further action.
If You Have Taken the Wrong Medication
If you have an affected pack (or previously received this batch) and
believe you have taken Citalopram 40 mg tablets in error
and are experiencing any side effects, please
seek immediate medical advice.
